YMCA Worcestershire: Calling all local businesses to support Sleep Easy event

Businesses can support the event by either donating or sleeping out.

YMCA Worcestershire is looking for local businesses to support their Sleep Easy event and help raise vital funds.

Why Should you Help?
Aside from meeting other businesses and improving your profile by being involved with the event. Having local businesses support the Sleep Easy will be fantastic and will help YMCA Worcestershire raise vital funds to continue their work. Their projects at the moment include supported accommodation for young people, youth clubs f people including those with special needs, mental health support and 1-1 mentoring.

What’s a Sleep Easy?
The YMCA Sleep Easy is a National fundraising event, intended to raise awareness of the issue of youth homelessness whilst raising vital funds to support individual YMCA’s work with young people in many different ways.

A Sleep Easy event is a sponsored sleep out from 7 pm to 7 am, where participants have only a cardboard box for protection (and a sleeping bag for warmth if they’ve brought one!) It’s meant to be challenging but fun, as participants take the chance to support their local YMCA. There will be food in the evening and morning, and hot drinks available during the night. As well as plenty of activities and games to keep you warm. And we provide the cardboard boxes!

How You Can Help
